  2. Gary Larson says:

Janet, Gaige & to other members of the Wunder family. I was saddened to learn of Larry’s passing. As cousins, growing up together in Harlan, we spent a good deal of time together at our family farm along side the golf course. One incident .that stands out. Is Larry dropping an egg on my brother Jacque’s.head while we were above him in the barn while he was milking a cow with a WWI steel helmet on his head and no shirt.. That started a pursuit. with Jacque chasing Larry. back to our house which was a good distance away. Fortunately, Larry was faster than Jacque and made it back to the safety of John & Edith and Albert & Vera. I don’t recall what punishment, if any, was handed out as a result of this barnyard hijinks but. it was fun to watch unfold as a spectator.

Only had periodic contact with Larry after high school, the last.time In 2005 after a class reunion. Same engaging guy! Would be joining you for services if not for living nearly 600 miles away but will be joining you in spirit.

    Gary Larson
