Katheryn was active in the First United Methodist Church Women’s Circle in Harlan. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Just Friends group. A kind person who was special to many, Katheryn truly loved her family and looked forward to Fiscus Fridays, a monthly gathering of the Fiscus family members. She was a good cook and was known for her home baked angel food cakes and pies. Katheryn also enjoyed her flower garden.

  1. Tom & Linda Lund says:

So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Since we’re out here in Montana and usually receive our Harlan newspapers in a bundle a few weeks at a time after Tom’s Agri-Diesel has received and read them, we are usually behind on our news. One of Tom’s employees lost a parent and when I went into the website to check the details, I saw your mom’s obituary. Please know that you are in our thoughts and our prayers as you adjust to life without her for just awhile. Someday you will all be together again with no health problems and indescribable joy. May you feel God’s presence in your lives while you are missing her. Tom and Linda Lund

  2. Lillian Kinkennon says:

To Katheryn’s family and other relatives: Please receive my sympathy in this fashion. i do not know whether Katheryn had been ill for some time or not, but I know all of you will miss her. Our children were in school together, in Irwin probably. My daughter and Janet were about the same age, I think. May the Lord comfort you as only He can.
